On March 10, 2024, zukan.com Inc. exhibited its AI Coloring app, currently in development, at the tech event "Mitou Conference 2024" held at Belle Salle Akihabara. The event was organized by the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA) and the Mitou Foundation, co-hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

On a spring day, Akihabara was transformed into a one-day festival of imagination — the Mitou Conference 2024! 🌈 zukan.com Inc. arrived with the magical "AI Coloring" app, not yet released to the world.

This "AI Coloring" is worlds apart from ordinary coloring where children fill in pre-made outlines by adults. When children share their dreams — "What if there was a scene like...?" — AI Coloring instantly transforms those dreams into coloring page originals. Leading the development and guiding visitors at the booth was Kenichi Naoe, an IPA Mitou Super Creator.

At the AI Coloring booth, everything began with the magical words that open the door to imagination: "What kind of picture do you want to color?" The workshop was filled with smiling children enthusiastically painting colorful worlds. Coloring pages born from boundless imagination — like "a hammerhead shark riding a bullet train" — were everywhere. Though initially hesitant with AI Coloring for the first time, ideas began sprouting from the children one by one: "A bullet train racing with a triceratops," "A T-rex fighting a dragon," "A dancing thief," and "A unicorn with long hair." Dreams blossomed one after another in color on paper.

That day, about 20 little artists discovered new ways to express themselves. Following this positive reception, zukan.com Inc. will actively organize AI Coloring workshops and experience events going forward.
