Scarecrows, crayfish... Children create coloring pages from rice-farming keywords and float them on a digital rice-field canvas
On Saturday, March 1, 2026, "AI Coloring" customized with an agricultural theme was exhibited at "Farmers & Kids Festa 2026" in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo. About 60 children participated, experiencing their colored artworks displayed on a "Rice Field Canvas" large screen.

What Is AI Coloring?
AI Coloring is an app that lets children generate original coloring pages simply by entering keywords. The iOS version launched in April 2024, and the app is now available on both iOS and Android. All basic features are free to use.
Special Customization for an Agricultural Theme
For this agricultural event, word cards featuring farm-related terms such as "strawberry," "tractor," and "onion" were prepared. Children selected 3 cards to generate 2 coloring page patterns, then colored them on a tablet. Finished works were displayed on a large screen called the "Rice Field Canvas."

Exhibition Report
Approximately 60 children (ages 3 to 10) participated on the day.

When their colored artwork appeared within the rice field scenery, children cheered with delight. Through this virtual agri-tourism experience — seeing their own vegetables and animals appear in a pastoral landscape — they enjoyed a fusion of agriculture and creativity.

Many children were also seen watching other participants' works appear on the canvas one after another, thinking about what they would create next.

Proven Safety
AI Coloring filters keywords before image generation to prevent inappropriate content for children. At this event, approximately 60 children freely selected keywords, and not a single piece of inappropriate content was generated — demonstrating the system's safety in a real-world environment.
Transforming Screen Time
zukan.com Inc. is on a mission to turn children's screen time from consumption to creation. Rather than passive screen time spent watching videos or playing games, AI Coloring transforms it into an active creative activity where children produce their own original works — a new form of play.
